This may be our last chance to experience it. The immersive digital art is unlike anything else — and perfect AC escape from July heat.

An immersive, barefoot walk through digital art installations. You wade through water, walk through flowers, and float in infinity mirror rooms. Everyone in the family will love this.

What to know:

• You go barefoot — wear easy-on/off shoes
• Wear shorts or clothes you can roll up (you wade through knee-deep water)
• Allow ~2 hours
• Fully air-conditioned
• Photos encouraged — incredible for social media

Shibuya Crossing + Hachiko

The world's busiest pedestrian crossing. Best viewed from the Starbucks overlooking the intersection, or just dive in and cross it yourself! Quick photo at the Hachiko statue outside Shibuya Station.

Pokemon Center SHIBUYA

Located in Shibuya PARCO (floors 5-6). Great first "big hit" Pokemon stop! Trendy exclusives and limited items.

Tip: This is your first "price discovery" day — note prices for comparison with Osaka later.

Harajuku / Takeshita Street

Walk from Shibuya to Harajuku (or take one stop). Explore Takeshita Street for wild fashion, crepes, and people-watching.

Good for: Unique shops, street fashion, cafes, teen culture — the kids will love this!

Kiddy Land (Omotesando)

A short walk from Takeshita Street on Omotesando avenue. Multi-floor toy store packed with character goods — Pokemon, Sanrio, Ghibli, Disney, and Japanese pop culture. The best place in Harajuku for kids!

Tip: Even just browsing is a blast. Budget some time here — it's hard to leave empty-handed.

Dinner + Pack for Kyoto

Dinner in Shibuya or back at the hotel area. After dinner, pack up — tomorrow you're taking the shinkansen to Kyoto!

Tip: Pack a small day bag separately for the train — you'll want snacks and entertainment accessible.
